1. My Dress-Up Darling

If you’re looking for a romance story that is completely new and unique, then too bad, because here’s another popular girl and unpopular boy pairing that you will end up keeping an eye on anyway. Wakana Gojo is someone whom you would refer to as a loner. Despite already being a high school student, he still doesn’t have a single person he can consider as a friend. The reason why that’s the case is because his whole life only revolves around Hina dolls, thus making it quite difficult for him to form any sort of connection with people his age. On the other hand, Marin Kitagawa, his classmate, is the complete opposite. She is bright, cheerful, and popular. They, however, discover that their completely different paths lead to the same destination. After a certain after-school encounter, the two of them ended up having an agreement. Marin managed to convince Wakana to help her out with her hobby. What’s her hobby, you ask? Well, it’s cosplay.

2. Living-Room Matsunaga-san

Living Room Matsunaga-san follows the life of Miko Sonoda. Miko, due to family circumstances, has no choice but to move into her uncle’s boarding house. This is troubling for the second-year high school student since she is not yet capable enough to live without relying on her parents. Miko’s transition to her new life, however, goes smoothly thanks to the help of the house’s oldest boarder, Jun Matsunaga. Miko and Jun end up having a parent-child-like relationship, but as they spend more time with each other, Jun’s parent title is slowly getting erased and possibly replaced by something completely different.

3. What I Love About You

Here’s a series that you will either find fun and enjoyable or just flat-out weird. Tatsu Yunoki is someone who has a hair fetish. Now, you might be wondering why that needs to be spotlighted. Well, it’s mainly because Tatsu is one-half of what you call a fetish couple. His girlfriend, Kotoka Hatsushima, has a back fetish, and this fetish of hers is the primary reason why they started going out in the first place. Kotoka decided to ask Tatsu out because she fell in love at first sight with Tatsu’s back. Tatsu then accepts since he finds Kotoka’s hair attractive. At this point, you can probably tell that this manga is just a mess, but it is a beautiful mess that will warrant your attention one way or another.

4. We Swore to Meet in the Next Life and That’s When Things Got Weird

In spite of having genuine feelings for each other, Princess Yuko and her knight, Harold, were never able to have an actual romantic relationship. The gap between a princess and a knight proved to be too big of a hurdle for them to overcome. They, however, didn’t want it to end there. Princess Yuko and Harold made a promise. A promise to find each other in their next lives and continue writing the story that they were never able to finish. And sure enough, after plenty of years passed, the two of them reunited. There’s just one little problem. By the time they met each other in their second lives, Princess Yuko is already 39 years old, while for some reason Harold is only 17.

5. Love at Fourteen

Kanata Tanaka and Kazuki Yoshikawa are both only second-year middle schoolers, and yet their classmates treat them as if they are years older than the rest of them. This situation forces the two childhood friends to hide their still childish personalities and carry themselves in a manner befitting a mature person. Kanata and Kazuki would put on these masks whenever they are around others, but they would immediately take them off and act naturally when it’s just the two of them. However, this routine didn’t last very long as they reached a point where the act continued even after they removed their masks.
